The Problem is not too few routes or too many planes, the problemm usually are low utilisation and too high fleet diversification. Other than that you could try a more profitable IFS and attempt to fly routes that have low competition and give you full planes. The number of routes is quite unimportant, all that matters is how profitable they are, so if a route is unprofitable, drop it and open up a new route somewhere else. 2 A320 are ok for the beginning, although you might want to look for some used aircraft to expand.
Lower your salaries and don't care about reputation at the beginning as reputation costs you a lot of money that you should rather invest into new aircraft to expand. Lateron the price of reputation does not have the same effect due to your being much profitabler with many routes and a bigger fleet of few aircraft families.
