I think that fundamentally, AE needs to stay how it is. It's a fantastic mix of both sides, which not everyone offers *cough* AirwaySim *cough* Airlinesim

thats a good idea , so you can add people you don't trust at all and they can't remove or delete your airline

Unfortunately, this permission system will not stop anyone intentionally trying to sabotage an airline. Having control over any one important aspect of an airline (fleet, pricing, contracts, etc) is more than enough to allow a malicious player destroy an airline.

That said, AE 4 will have much more comprehensive tracking of actions performed within the game, but it still won't eliminate the potential for sabotage.

This may be asking for the moon, but is it feasible (and/or worthwhile) to implement a rollback system to "undo" any "major" changes to an airline's operation? i.e. fare changes, aircraft orders, branding settings, closure of routes, etc. These won't necessarily undo any charges against the airline, but it could make the job of restoring malicious changes a little bit less horrendous.

 

Also worth considering is a check and balance system, wherein two or more players who are granted control of an airline have to approve of any major transactions. This may be less effective, since it somewhat defeats the point of having another player control an airline, but may also prevent major maleovelent changes.

i like the game like the way it has right now. but i think havin' some AE World with the chance to co-work with other player it's amazing! maybe you can have a CEO and then other player working with the division of rules said by Yuxi. Also for the player aren't the CEO can have other airlines in the biggest one airline... like Lufthansa with Air Dolomiti, Lufthansa CityLine, GermanWings,  etc...etc...

We should be able to hate three choices
1. Manage yourself
2. Assign roles
3. Give the player the option to automate some parts and not other
4. Instead of roles there is a CEO and then one manager per hub or district.

what you can do is for example take special time of the year in account and add or remove pax. For example when its summer the european pax are flying southwards to the medditerean sea so what I mean here is this, if you take for example SKG Thessaloniki airport in Greece or AYT Antalya airport in Turkey. They should have fixed pax demand over the year but lets say from june till august and increase in 30% because of holidays. Like NY can have an increase at christmas till new year period. This requires offcourse some research but I think it would be a nice update to the game if the pax demands changes. So as a player we can start adding extra planes to this route. Another addition would be to " hire " a charter. Small airline players who has trouble growing should be hired by bigger ones so that dont go bankrupt, but can fill in the gaps of the big ones. The bigger company should just get a small percentage of the income but the smaller player can make some good money of it. so this charter can fill the summer periods in or holiday times. kinda " leasing " another player.

More Biz sim please. Also how about upgrades like auto pricing or random events like crashes on old planes to limit fleet sizes and punish old fleets
