Section 1: Airline Operations

1.1 (a) Cabin Services: All airlines must meet or exceed the standards of IFE, IFS, and seating for the alliance. These standards can be found in the guidelines. Nonetheless, we encourage you to meet a high standard of service.

1.1 (b ) Cabin Classes & Seating: All airlines must meet the standards in seating arrangements. These standards can also be found in the guidelines.

1.2 (a) Fleet: Fleets are required to be realistic. For example, we do not want an American flagship operating a russian airliner. All airlines are encouraged to keep their fleet new and modern, and use the same engine type for the whole fleet of the aircraft type. It is an absolute must that aircraft are no older than 35 years of operational service, though 25-27 years is the recommended maximum. This is to benefit and maintain the alliance image and reputation.

1.2 (b ) Fleet Types: It is requested that airlines keep the number of families in their aircraft fleet no more than 10 (No more than three regional types. (Under 101 seats), no more than three short haul (101-285), no more than four long haul. (286+), whilst still meeting the individual airline's operational requirements (An example to clarify: The Boeing 737-600 and 737-900 are considered the same family, whereas the Boeing 777-300 and the Boeing 737-600 are not). An airline may be asked to justify each aircraft family, and advice may be given on streamlining and reducing the number of families. Reducing the number of families increases an airline's image, but also significantly reduces the maintenance costs of the individual airline.
*If you are replacing a fleet type, as long as your fleet will meet requirements within 5 game years you may temporarily go over the limit.

1.3 Routes: Airlines and members in the alliance are required to maintain realistic destinations and routes. Multiple airlines in the alliance may operate on some same routes, as long as competition don't cause a price war resulting in loss of profit for either party. The two airlines must agree on a deal where profit and load factor is equally or fairly split. If there are any problems, the airline that was first on the route will be allowed to keep flying it. If there is a major problem you may contact administration.

1.4 Hubs: Members are required to maintain realistic hubs. It is strongly prohibitive that multiple airlines in the alliance hub at the same cities. This is not allowed. If spotted and reported, the conflicting airline might result in loss of membership or other acts of discipline.

1.5 Branding: All airlines are required to display a logo of high quality. If an airline does not have one, it will be required to obtain one as soon as possible. Airlines are free to contact the alliance administration where arrangements to obtain a logo will be made. A livery also required. Again the alliance administration can help you obtain by request. These rules regarding branding are to maintain the overall airline and alliance reputation and overall image.

Section 2: Alliance and Member Administration

2.1 Game Worlds: The alliance will remain in 1 or 2 main game worlds for the whole duration of the round unless the administration states otherwise. The game worlds that the alliance will be active in will be discussed prior to the start of the round. All active members are requested to join at least one of these main worlds unless the alliance administration is notified with a reason.

2.2 Organisation: Everett and Lake are recognised as the founders of the alliance, and assumes roles as leaders as far as administration and communication is concerned. Members with a concern about a particular rule, or anything else regarding the alliance, should contact the alliance administration.

2.3 Applications: Before any new member is permitted to join the alliance, most standards of the alliance must be met, with all standards to be met after acceptance into the alliance. After an application is posted, the administration will open a vote in private member forums for members to vote. However the alliance administrations have the right to completely veto any said application.

2.4 Member Behavior: Essor is a professional alliance, and all members are expected to behave with utmost professionalism. Any negative behavioral actions will result in a disciplinary action by the alliance. We aim to maintain a professional and quality image.
