What would you prefer as time frame for the next Rdelta, as the current one will soon end?
Perhaps post other changes too.
I'd like a 1985-2025.

1977-2022 is my suggestion.
Alternatively 1975-2025, with everything beyond 2000 at 15m/day

I too like a 1975-2025 or 1980-2020 option
Fox though has a point, I mean I'd like some time to accumulate older jet models (727 and DC-10). Also, since games after about 2015 are garbage, I like the idea of time speeding up to 15 mins/day as was suggested above.

Well, 1985 would put one just into the timeframe of all MD-80 models being available (soon).
I wouldn't like 1975, as people will likely buy huge amounts of the 707-320C and Il-18. (being one of the longest range aircraft then/a very efficient aircraft.)Actually, according to wikipedia the last 707-300C was delivered in 1982.
1980 would be okay, as the early widebodies & the 727(-200) make a nice addition and it would be free of the early props.
On a side note, why is there a "20" at the end of all 707s? Usually the last two digits would be used for Boeing's customer code.

MD-80s can't be waited for in 1975 starts, as most of the bigger routes are already full by the time they come out (especially the longer range ones), which makes them pretty obsolete, because it is not the best way to abuse them on ratger small routes.
That may not be the case as much in the US, but it's quite bad in Europe.

If you loose dc10s and start to loose dc9s in 1980 start than 1975 or earlier it needs to be.

It seems to me that the fairest option would indeed be like 1980-2020ish. Personally, I'd like to accrue a large fleet of 727s though

Without 727s, I can't replace 727s later on

I think 1985-2025 would be a good compromise

But I want 727s and DC9s, too many worlds start that late, can't R-delta be a more earlier start

I agree with Yuxi that 1985 is a good compromise, I can understand the arguments over some aircraft not being operatable, but we are never going to be able to please everyone.

If I could choose the time range I would go for 1975-2015 just my 2¢
