So "Mendoowoorrji" has been revealed at Boeing Field in Seattle, VH-XZJ a Boeing 737-800, the work is inspired by that of Paddy Bedford a late Aboriginal artist from WA (so I'd presume Noongar)

Must say it's certainly a lot more muted than I was expecting.

so B789 heading to Auckland to look shiny for ANZ.

Wonder if worth having a look, seeing as it's just a slightly longer 788.

On the other hand, could be amusing if it catches fire.

It's also heading to Alice Springs to get tested in extreme heat, so it might catch fire there.

Also Perth Airport's completed the first of two A380 gates so we can probably expect Emirates to start bringing one down here sometime soon.

It would appear that the main original international pier in Auckland can handle at least one A380 now, which is interesting, as when there were just 2 per day they parked in the western extension pier, wonder if an A380 being at the original pier disables any other gates due to it likely being oversize.

Wonder what's next for EK in AKL, PER-AKL A380 would be amusing and one of the few possible scenarios.

EK A388 on PER-AKL seems unlikely to me, there's only so much flying you can fit into a day and right now the longest layover they have at PER is 4 hours 50 minutes (arriving 01:10 depart 06:00) which is definately not enough time to get to Auckland and back :P

Alright fair point. Additional 77W service? ^_^

Not that I want to see any more of EK in Auckland.
