connex today has pledged any future aircraft orders to industry giant Boeing, citing a more than favourable working relationship between the two companies.
connex currently have a fleet of 166 Boeing aircraft, and another 156 on order with deliveries scheduled until the end of 2014. The 757-200, 757-300 and 767-300ER models are soon to be phased out and replaced with NextGen aircraft from the 737 and 787 family. The current fleet of 737-800 aircraft are on a rolling replacement scheme, as are all 777-300 aircraft.
With orders pledged to Boeing, connex is showing is commitment to the future of the airline and to the environment. Choosing aircraft from the NextGen families of 737, 747 and 787, connex is committed to reducing it's carbon footprint across the globe.
