Windows 7 is XP with vista's looks...and then some more :D

Vista I see as a visual experiment, and it cut out the things we techies like most, people who dont know the first thing about computers didnt need all the stuff they cut out. but the things they cut out were essential, for e.g. it was difficult to mod games. I hope they never go back to that.

For the most part, if you are using WinXP, Vista, or Win7, you are using the same interface that the manufacturer has created. Win8 most likely will have a new interface compatible with the Win8 settings.

I even download Chrome for Use at school. The computer are average speed then and it would fix all the problems with internet speed but our school is just stupid sometimes.

The librarian at my new school gets pissed when I use Google.

Such a contrast from my old school, where you could load almost anything anywhere.

Lucky, all the teachers at our academy have given up with school computers and IE, they nearly all bring in their own laptop with Chrome. :P

Chrome is absolute winner because of it's low memory consumption when less tabs opened, it's integrated location/search box and native syncing options (a winner for people who like me owns/works on multiples computers).

The Safari for Mac OS X Mountain Lion is very good and it's my second favorite on this OS. For older OS X versions, the Chrome still have an edge.

Firefox improved quite a lot in terms of memory consumption specially when many tabs (10+) are open. Also it's absolutely reliable so it's my second option on Windows, Linux and older OS X versions.

Opera used to be my favorite until Chrome came along. However for people with very slow internet connections (e.g. dial-up) this is definitely the best option. Not only because of it's "turbo" feature, but also because you can easily switch navigating with cached/regular image options with a single click of a button. Also it has a powerful native content-blocking feature that can not only be used as adblocking but also as a plug-in blocker (flash block).
And if you think it's unreal dial-up connections in 2012, travel to Cuba, most countries in Africa or certain countries in Latin America… As I lived in Cuba for long 3 years paying absurdly high prices for a 33.6 Kbps connection (€5/hour approx.) and having very slow and unreliable connections in Angola, those features in Opera were "God sent."

I just got IE10.    Win 7 about June.   and XP shouldn't be in the same poll.  Since  drivers  and programs aren't compatible. And a lot of things in Win 7 are missing.    Or take twice as long  and many clicks  to use.     And many people are holding out.  It makes the poll skewed.  I've got firefox as a backup. But really don't need it.  My IT brother told me to get rid of it.

And Chrome is too invasive. I'm getting sick of not being able to load anything , anywhere. And not print  what I click on.  I still miss XP.....
