Hi,
I run what I believe is nice airline and have applied to two high quality alliances and have been declined both times. I fly an all Boeing fleet, my planes are not packed to the rim with seats, I have what I consider a nice IFS configuration, have straight 5 star IFE configurations. What I am wondering is what kind of airline are you looking for when I apply. For the people from aaaliance I closed my hub in STL and now have hubs in PDX, SEA, and LAX, which is exactly where the real Alaska Airlines hubs are. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know which alliances you have applied to, but I wouldn't worry to be honest.
Some of the "high quality" alliances tend to be fairly "cliquey" and come with a certain amount of "drama". Personally, I avoid them for that reason.

"Quality" is subjective, so your idea of it might not meet a particular alliance's policy - but remember, the game is about making an airline that fits your views, not one that fits in with other people's ideas.

We declined you, Boeing Fan, as we specifically stated that as the airline utilises the name of a real world carrier, your airlines' route network, fleet, and 'style' (referring here to LCC, full service, etc.) must reflect that of the real carrier.

Alas, your airline still does not reflect the real Alaska Airlines.

In regards to your comments, Brit, it has been noted that I'm terribly 'OCD' with many aspects of alliances and the airlines they consist of; you of course have been on the recieving end of this. As a result, I'm very reluctant to accept new members unless I feel I can trust them to operate their airlines in a manner that i deem acceptable. It's my own way of 'quality control' or so to speak. This may be why you believe some of the quality alliances are 'cliquey'.

I am aiming for a airline that offers great service for a reasonable price so I thought that those kinds of alliances would be the same. On the note of Alaska. I have closed my hub in STL and have shortened my terminal so that I am barely doing any flights out of there. Just like Alaska Airlines I have an all boeing fleet, I have just expanded the route network and fleet size to reflect my hopes of what I hope Alaska Airlines will eventually become.
