Oslo!
Well.... Oslo is my favorite place in europe as it is close to my home... only 20 min boat ride away... Usually not to bad wheather and nice people too ( If you move in the right part of Oslo and not in the Places where no human have been in decades.... )
Outside norway... my favorite place in europe is... Palma De Mallorca and Alcudia, Thats cause of the nice people there, the beaches and everything. Amazing! and a great airport too in palma with a 1 hour busdrive before your at your location if you travel to Alcudia.... Usually with no air-conditioning... but you will forget that when you arrive at the hotel

London, UK
I am not from London, but I moved here some years ago. The city welcomed me from the day I moved here, and now I can't imagine living anywhere else. Its a wonderful city, with lots to see and do, cheap and efficient public transport and extensive services catering to the 24 hour lifestyle.
Stockholm, Sweden
Another fine city. Very safe (and it really feels it - other cities are safe but don't necessarily give the impression), full of attractive scandinavians and beautiful buildings. Its a bit pricey, but I still love it, and in all weathers. Particularly fond memories of visits in the height of winter!
Crete, Greece
Crete is a very interesting island. Supposedly one of the cradles of civilisation, it has fascinating heritage. The climate is a bit unpleasant, but there is lots to see and do, very friendly people and if you know where to go, it is surprisingly very easy to avoid the tacky touristy places full of Northern Europeans vegetating on the beach, turning lobster pink!

I'm an adult using an oyster card, just like the majority of other TfL users - and I stand by my point, as discussed in chat.
If you wish to dispute that, I suggest you open another thread where people attempt to find a cheaper and more extensive public transport system than London's, taking into account the efficiency, the frequency of service, as well as the age of network and the associated modernisation costs.
Lets not hijack this one too much!

2. MONTE CARLO, MONACO A short drive from nice airport, the city is alive. The palace is very interesting, and the city comes alive at night with the casino.

Try Norway, Best standard of living in the world, we live longer than anybody in the world. The crime rate is low and we have a good and stable economy. But what you are saying applies to all the southern countries.I dont like Europe... all you do is cause riots and financial problems
Also, my favorite place in Europe must be Oslo Gardermoen Airport, small airport with daily 757 and 777 Traffic. What more do I need.

York is a great city. It is very small for a city but it has a massive cathedral. Its a lovely historic city in the heart of Yorkshire. It has a great Victorian Railway Station and just next to it is a model railway and on the other side is a railway museum which is There is a nice place in york called the shambles which the image is below, its very very narrow. There is lots to do in york, its a great city to visit.
London I like because of its buildings and landmarks, I like going round site seeing. I like the tube its and the complex train network running from all sides of the city, there's over a dozen railways stations within London. London also has a tram system in Croyden, not as cool as Manchester's Metrolink though. I think ill leave it there

Manchester. Firstly, its because I was born there. I like it because it has a nice tram system and easy to navigate bus system, great for getting around. It has 2 great railway stations, Manchester Piccadilly (Historically London Road Station) is the main one providing most services. Manchester Victoria is attached to the MEN arena which is awesome They do shows and concerts and stuff there. Also the city has heritage, nicknamed Cottonopolis, as it was One of the main cities in the industrial revolution, along with neighbor Liverpool which is full of scousers(Liverpudlians). At the moment I reside in an Manchester overflow town, overflow towns were towns built around the cities to accommodate the large number of workers for the factories so a lot of people are Mancunian descendants. I live in Cheshire which some people would think is posh, trust me, you get creeps around here, but suppose you get them everywhere. But that's what makes it interesting.
