What exactly are slots? And what's the difference between that and a gate,,,,.in real life that is,,,

Also I was looking at my finance spreadsheet, there was a tab for insurence, how do u get insurance?

I cannot explain the concept of a slot very well, but it is basically what lets you use the gate.
When you rent out a gate, you get 50 time slots from that gate. Those 50 time slots let you do 50 flights per week with that gate. So, slots are time frames an aircraft can use for boarding. Sorry if this explanation isn't very good. In real life, I have no idea. I don't know much about real aviation compared to some other members here.
You wouldn't be able to directly control insurance, but let me get back to you on that in a moment.

EDIT: the insurance field is empty. Maybe a developer can clarify the purpose of insurance

The insurance part together with other sections that are still empty at the moment will be implemented in the future. In short,it is still under development.

As for slots, I don't have better explanations about it, will it have correlation with future timetable?

Slots, in aviation terms, gives an airline rights to schedule a landing and departure at a certain airport. Given an airport has only a certain number of runways as well as regulations on how often aircraft can depart/land on such runways (not to mention curfews at certain airports), the number of slots are limited. That is why incumbent airlines at airports such as JFK and LHR hoard slots--one, because they're limited, and, two, giving up unused slots may go to competition and difficult to get back.

Gate usage/rental is a separate entity. Airlines could also opt to use airfield parking with airstairs.
