If you're mucking around with the wages in R2, knock it off.

Wait, how much you pay your employees is worth classifying now?Because there is no way that a gate agent gets $38/hr.

Wait, how much you pay your employees is worth classifying now?
If you were going to do that QK, you might as well have classified the annual pay rate as well
On a side note, the same thing is happening in S1

Check Southern, he went to 50 bil in the red really fast.......that would be the guy
You're probably right, Fox did say Southern (R2) wasn't profitable so it was time to play with the pay rates.

Question: Are you a mod and is allowed to treat others with a condescending rate?
If so, go reflect. If this ain't out of AE limits, then don't complain. Play. Not go around intending to instil "standard" behaviour.

Its not "standard behaviour" that he's suggesting. Its one or two players who are destroying the game for everybody, and how to stop them.

Are you smoking crack? Ive complainedd many times about the staff rates bing too high for older worlds. ONly to be ignored , ort wimpy fixes like 25% decrease for regional planes. Also, the code for staff is sdupposedly messed up so it reqiures 2x staff per plane (even with reserves). ALso: http://www.airline-e...ost-break-down/
Here ain't the place to complain about AE's non-realism. If you want; go report in the Suggestions forums or talk to Yuxi or uney directly.
Besides, what so difficult to you (and QK) to understand that the wages for the world have risen? It's particularly realist to me.

Even so, does he have the right to tell them to "stop" if they are "mucking around with the wages"? If you play a game; play it. Don't cry and expect people to change because you wanted so.
There isn't really any justification why QK even wants them to stop. His post makes him sound like a perfectly unreasonable little boy.
Honestly; if Foxy wanted to pay XXX more than others, other airlines should be expected to pay if they want workers. Honestly; why d'you expect there be a pilot shortage for LCCs?
To Ross: And if I tell you its Foxy (and most likely is), I'll bet with you half of AE will not complain another single word.

Just because your planes are running directly on bank notes doesn't mean that you can go out and f*** up the rest of the game world.
There's other, better uses for excess money.

R2 keeps getting worse and worse. First that Northern F*****, now this.
If you have no legitimate complaint, I suggest you clean the vulgarities out of your mouth. And justify; how is it worse?
Seriously, if you consider these wages high; be glad your staff are still with you. Many would have hopped to another job in another better paying airline, if you were to talk about realism, which I think most of you are complaining (unreasonably, to some point) are.

Thus, a simple script to regularly remove airlines too deep in debt would be greatly appreciated. This would regularly correct the game world against people who simply blow up their airlines by jacking up employee salaries instead of taking the high road and simply BK'ing.

I don't care what people pay their employees. The biggest underlying issue is that if a real airline did this, they'd eventually have no money left to pay their employees, and then they'd file for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. On AE, you just continue to rack up a massive debt that you cannot recover from.

I agree with this and used a similar arguement to have the perpetrator who did this in one of the other worlds (R5 i think)removed .
If someone wants to pay higher wages and their airline cash flow can support that, good for them--I have no dispute with that.
If on the other hand, they spike the wage rates up and their airline cannot support this from a budgetary standpoint, running up into the tens of billions in debt, then their airline should be forcibly liquidated. In real life they would be forced into bankruptcy.
I understand that this is a sim, a game, but this is a flaw/gap/loophole that can/should be addressed.

Your argument doesn't stand. The one in R5 was due to something illegal that he changed the parameters of the wages, but the guy here perfectly done it in conditions AE have set.

If I sound like a little boy whining for no reason, you are entitled to your opinion. However, this is a valid issue and gameplay in this fashion is not something that should be allowed.
Yuxi has actually stated that the industry average should be fixed... not sure when that is going to happen. However, if there is an offender airline, it should be shut down for using these unsustainable tactics.
For Sheepy and M4: I classified it just for kicks. You can calc it out if you want.
It's really me, now. #backtoAE

The simple matter is; airlines that give their staff $9999 dollars an hour (or even more if you use the 'inspect element' glitch) are unrealistic. They end up billions in debt and spoil the game for legitimate players.
In the real world, Alfie, you are entirely correct - employers could give their employees thousands an hour, however they would be bankrupt the moment pay-day came around at the end of the month. So, in that respect it is not realistic.

His argument does stand! He said that it is unrealistic for airlines to run themselves into billions of debt (paying employees thousands an hour) and not be forced into bankruptcy. This is the case with Southern R2 - which is currently $87 billion in the red and counting...
Are you telling me it's realistic that airlines can pay their employees $9999 an hour while they're the most indebted airline in the world?

I agree as well. These airlines should be cut and the owner punished, because it's not just wrong, but it's plain stupidity that you have the urge to f*** with others' airlines and how they pay their staff. Increasing by a little is okay, but this is BS.

I agree - as others have said, I don't have a problem with airlines paying their employees loads - providing they can afford to, that's fair game. However, when they pay their employees loads and go into billions of debt - they are playing beyond their means and it's just wrong...
