Bratislava (BTS), Slovakia - After succesful introduction of a new identity and livery, EUROJET expands its partnership with Airbus and ordered a brand new A330-200 (8F/14C/318Y) to build up the long-haul network. First destinations will be announced shortly.
Early in 2002, EUROJET expects its brand new A319-100LR which will fly primarily to North America.
"The A319LR are ideal for our purposes to fly between cities with a medium demand of passengers. As our hub Bratislava belongs to those ones, we are happy to have found such a great solution from Airbus. Our target is to harmonize our fleet over the next years, however Boeing attracts us with its long-haul products, who may be used for network expansion to Asia" said Michal Schindler, CEO of EUROJET during a press-conference in Kosice. Further he added: "We are currently researching our potential in Eastern Slovakia, where we believe to find further opportunites."
