Hi,

I am unable to replace some of my 737-300/400 aircraft with 737-NG's. When I go to the 'change aircraft' button on the -300/400, no aircraft come up. Bu if I was to go to 'open new route' using the same city pairs, it will allow me to open a new route using the NG's. The new aircraft are not assigned to any routes and are completly free, and the routes are between major airports. Any help?

Hi

Did you happen to select routes when changing?

Certainly did. It only happens to some aircraft.

Then it should have to do with the speed (given that range for 737NG should be more :/ ), try selecting all except one, two or three routes and try again :/

Thanks for that. It works as long as you have other aircraft available to service the other routes.

737-300 can always replaced by 737-600, but 737-800 may not cover everything 737-400 flies.

Thing is even though 738 is faster but 734 do have a 5 minutes advantage. If all routes in your single 734 are short-range and many, you probably won't be able to directly replace your 734 by 738. However, if your routes are close to max range of 734, you will be able to replace your 734 with 738 directly.
