I want to open up Mexico and fly there from some areas in the US. But where do you go to pay them or something? I have a gate and a plane ready but it wont allow the flight. Anything I'm missing? Appreciate any help.

Does the plane fit the airport - close enough, having long enough a runway at both ends?

Yes, if you look at the description page for the aircraft, look down to see if:
1) The aircraft has enough range. Look at the number on the left. The aircraft can carry a full load of passengers until it exceeds the range listed on the left. After that, it carries fewer passengers until the range on the right is reached.
2)Are the runways long enough? Compare the length required by the aircraft on its info page, and the lengths at the airports when you try to open the new flight.
I got too detailed, but you don't seem to have been on AE very long. Good luck with your airline.
