On 7th January 2012, an AirItalia Tu-204-100, I-TALZ, crashed on a pre-delivery test flight in Moscow, Russia. The aircraft suffered a hydraulics faliure, causing the pilots to lose control and crash into a river. This has led to AirItalia cancelling it's other seven Tu-204-100's that were on order.
