I've been following the AE wiki and their tips, but I am still having trouble starting up an airline. I've tried the following routes while starting up an airline, Sydney, NSW to Melbourne, VIC, Detroit, MIC to Minneapolis, MIN and Los Angeles, CAL to San Francisco, CAL. Is 14 flights a week on the one route to many?

First ,
Good tips:
1. Its better to fly with a brandnew airline to the second airport of a city, because on the big airports are the gates really expensive. (For example : La Guardia (NYC) To Washington National) Maybe the daily pax is lower than when you fly from JFK to Washington Dulles.
2. Look by the daily pax: Operates another airlines this route already?
3. On routes with a high daily pax (from 200 to 2000) you can add many more flights than 14 weekly!!!!
You can always ask me with questions!!!
Bye!

4. Abandon the city all together and start elsewhere where competition is non-existent.

Choose as few aircraft types, and aircraft as possible. As stated above, don't even think about any large airports at first. Think Bangor. Find routes with no competition. Don't add too much frequency. Match demand with seats.
