I have some 757 flying TATL routes from JFK to secondary German airports and from FRA flying secondary American airports.
So, time is passing and they are getting old. What can I use to replace them?
I think I'll be ordering some 787 to replace them

What's sad is there is no true replacement for the 757. Either the A321 or B787 would probably be the best options to look at

i dont think the A321 could fly trans-Atlantic flights so i would replace them with 767-300s :/

I would go with 737ER or A319LR on the smaller side or 787s on the bigger side. There's no direct replacement for that capacity and trip length (and runway) unfortunately :/

I decided to order 10 to replace the oldest ones!
In the long term , 787 will be replacing them!

787 it's great to fly this route , but it is i tin a little bit bigger then the 757, i think that you can also try to fly with the 767-300(ER) or something like that.

Goodluck!

I'd go for A318/A320 as they can cross the Atlantic

I, in fact, prefer more frequencies to give flexibility time to passenger..
so for me this aircraft is the best...
in addition, their fuel flow is lower compared to 757...
in which if we set more frequencies, it wont reduce the DOP so much..

I've got two airlines and i've got the 319-100LR also by the two airlines because it is an amazing plane to fly transatlantic flights!

You can also try the A330-200 and add lesser flights (so when you have 7 weekly flights with the A319-100LR from AMS-JFK for example , then you can also try with the A330-200 three weekly flights)

Replacement for the 757 is the Tupolev Tu-204. Simple!

I'm not based in the US, I'm based in Italy and I have one Tu-204-100 and one 757-200 and I found out that on routes with exactly the same demand, same ticket prices and same configuration the Tu-204-100 was more profitable, and has lower mantinence, and you can reduce fuel burn by fitting winglets.

757.... I would have waited untill the 787 came to the market... or used the A321.... :/

But the 757 shall be good for atleast 25 years of service... -_-

I Think in all honesty i would push 30+ with a 757. :/ in game anyway. (then again, i push DC-9s to 40+ XD )

I said ATLEAST..... Cause you shall never remove an aircraft like the 757 from service before it reaches 25 Years... It is a nice bird that deserves to have air beneth the wings... -_- :P
