Is it better to do multiple hops or just back and forth routes with one aircraft??.....

example:

Phoenix to sacramento to san diego back to phoenix?

First you start up Phoenix Sacramento whit the aircraft you have selected for this, then start Sacramento to San Diego with the same airplane and then do the same for SAN PHX

Yes I know how to schedule it........what I was asking was is it better to do multiple hops with one aircraft or just go back and forth between two cities instead of the 3 city hop?

I think it is - definitely - better to make a route from 'A' to 'B' than 'A' -> 'B' -> 'C' (-> 'D'). Easier to manage and it is cheaper if You use all of Your slots at your HQ (especially at the beginning).

to save money, your way is kinda good.
each of the airport fly to your other airport.
which means, you maximize the available slot...
