How is this calculated is the average for the country or the game as a whole?

My airline has a very unhappy workforce as the industrial average for all employees has shot up to over £3m an hour. Since there appears not to be general uproar suspect it is by country and someone is mucking about hence not reported this as a bug.

Playing in R5 which is due to end sometime tomorrow.

1, I'm pretty sure its a game as a whole.
2. How the hell did you get $3million and hour? you sure thats not your entire workforce?

It isn't what i am paying, if I was the workforce would be 'over the moon', it is the industrial average. The staff attrition rate is 6.6% per month for all class of employees.

To answer your first question: it is the game as a whole. FYI, country filtering was added quite recently long after the opening of R5.

My airline is a little bigger with 795,023 employees and based in China but exactly the same problem. Good R5 ends soon!

no doubt if this is a 'bug' Yuxi will let us both know.

Fortunately game is almost over and everyone is in the same boat, with regards to costs, but it makes a mockery of the game if one small airline in North America with just 2 x 60 seater aircraft can have such a worldwide impact.

Just did it myself, but changed it back immediately...
ok, if your using google chrome.
Right click on the pay box and click "inspect element"
Then right click again on "<input type="text" class="prince_input_right" maxlength="4" name="ccrew_pay" value="39"> and click "edit attribute" for "value=".
You can then insert any amount you like.
Hit enter, then save.

BOOM! Yuxi is there anything you can do to stop this? I fear it will happen again... due, in part, to this very reply :/

P.S. for Yuxi's eyes only :shifty:

huh, turns out. the printscreen button is no help at all....... but it figured..

to Catch a Screen (commonly known as printscreening)
  • Go to the screen you want to catch.
  • Press the Print Screen button (commonly abbreviated as PrtScn)
  • Go to your favorite basic image editor (MS Paint, Paint.Net, etc.) and go to Edit--> Paste (or press Ctrl/Cmd+V).
  • Save the image to disk in either jpg, png, or gif.
  • Upload using your favorite service (flikr, photobucket, picasa web albums, etc.)
Lazy Method #1.
  • Download Picasa.
  • Create a Google Account.
  • Login with that Google Account in Picasa.
  • Press the Print Screen button. Then, go back to Picasa and make sure that the folder is uploading.
  • Right click on the photo and click view online. It's already up there for you.
Lazy Method #2.
  • Google the term "Jing"
  • Download the program.
  • Follow the instructions, use the built-in function to upload to screencast.com.
  • It will show you where it is online automatically.
Lazy Method #3.
  • Use difficult method steps 1-4.
  • Download Dropbox. Install it.
  • Stick the image in the Dropbox folder.
  • Figure out where it is online.
Hope this helps! :)

EDIT: Forgot one. I call it the....

Foolish Silly Method
Steps 2-3a for standalones only
  • Use a camera either standalone, smartphone, or otherwise functional to take a picture of your monitor.
  • Download it to your computer.
  • Follow step 4-5 in normal procedure.
  • Sigh and grimace as people wonder why you can't take a normal screenshot and comment on the poor quality of the graphic.
Needless to say, avoid using this last method. ;)
