sudden;y find my airline has super happy employees. Have not increased wages but looks as if the industry average wage has dropped dramatically so much that am now paying some employees more than 50% above the average.
Anyone know why this has happened or how the industry average is calculated?

I have wondered, as well, how it is calculated. Is it based on the average of what all the airlines in the game are paying?

A deep clean has occurred, wiping out inactive airlines. Human Resources wages are probably based on the average of all the airlines in that world, so you probably are on the top right now. Enjoy it while you can!
It's really me, now. #backtoAE

i experienced the same thing, but before this event occur, i experienced a day where all my staff are unhappy.
the average salary is higher than my staff's salary, i presume there are airlines who accidentally or maybe purposely increase their staff's salary so the average salary increased.
to handle this, i also increase my staff's salary to make them super happy.
and then, bang, this event occur!
the average salary is 75% lower than my staff's salary. maybe my staffs super duper happy now.
i presume some airlines are wiped out so the average salary decreased.
