Hi,
When I copied and pasted the layers together, they didn't perfectly align, especially the wings. Any suggestions? Thanks, Will.

I can only align them when the base layer is in indexed colour, so it doesn't make two layers.
I just started making liveries and was looking for any kind of help and you have just provided a wonderful tutorial.
Thanks heaps this will surely help me a lot !

Everyone is so focused on argueing about Windows and Mac computers that none of you can realise that everyone is having a consistant issue. What in the entirety of ****-ness are we supposed to do at step 6. Pressing Ctrl-Alt-Shift DOES NOT WORK. So what is it we are supposed to do? I'm hoping to be able to do this so people can complain about my liveries instead of feeling guilty about people giving up their time to make me good liveries.
Well, here it is, a full tutorial on how to make a livery in Adobe Photoshop CS.
This tutorial features Photoshop CS5, however, you can get Photoshop CS2 directly from Adobe for free at the link below. You need to make an adobe account to download it.
ehhhmm.. could you may tell me what is the (f****ing) verification-key for CS2? have installed the german version I got by following your link.. But can't start the program without this key and have found no help in Adobe-support documents... I'm going on searching for the key in the dowloads (though I aspect no victory there..).. would be very greatful if someone could help me out ^^
You don't need livery programs like GIMP for this. Even paint works.
!
can someone please help with the ctrl-alt-shift part?
I like the tutorial, and it worked well for me and I'm nothing great with photoshop. But, what about the tutorial for the engines and winglets?

Oh wow - people here keep skipping the ultra important question several members have now asked:
- How the fxxx is step 6 completed (both for MAC and PC version) ?
The instructions are either unclear or simply not correct (said without being an expert).
Please please help ... otherwise the otherwise awesome guide is utterly useles
Thanks.
Here is my livery
Can anyone put this on a 747?

I'm not really sure how active this is, but I can't get the windows selected. I draw the selection around them but the box doesn't select the windows when I use the key command. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
i don't get the 3rd step. where is the detail file???
This is a pretty outdated tutorial. Just go download Med's templates.

Heres a link to a place where you can still download Jetabout templates, their pretty bad compared to meds but its still fun to make a livery on them once in a while
It is a bit hard but you can use gimp and use Med's Templates !
(im not really good at gimp)
