ArubanStar on AE7 is using 777-200ER's to fly out of Chicago Midway (MDW). How is this possible? The runway at MDW is 6,522 feet &
the 777-200ER needs 8,458 feet. It won't let me use a 777-200ER. Is Arubanstar using some sort of cheat, or is there a glich in the game that only lets some of the players cheat?

what route?
MDW-LGW. The aircraft's runway length demand exceeds what the airport's runway length is. I imagine the 777-200ER ArubanStar is using lifts off somewhere in a field outside the airport's perimeter?

i think yuxi or un1 should investigate
i agree. this is a pretty clear sign of cheating. Do you know which player is in charge of the airline?

OK.... If I and the other player could both use an aircraft that needs a long runway on MDW's short runway, then I'd say the game has a bug. However, since the other player can and I can't, it does seem suspicious.
Anyone ever notice an instance on a route where there is stiff competition, & your profit goes extremely in the red, but you load factor remains 100%, and the only thing out of whack is that all of a sudden your ticket prices are really low, like F/C/Y = $90/$90/$90? And you know you didn't set it like that. So you go & adjust them back & everything goes back into the green. I've noticed this happening lately & its only on a few routes with the same competitors who keep fighting me heavily on other routes.
Another gripe I got is when someone starts a second airline up & it appears they do so only to "ruin a route". Kind of like a "scorched earth policy", or an "if I can't have it, you can't have it" mentality. Their route system map for the 2nd airline only has a couple strange oddball disconnected cities and I may happen to fly out of all of them. What they do is flood a route with an excess # of seats & then let it go. Their first airline heads up in rank, & their second heads to the bottom.

What about these other odd things...
1) Anyone ever notice an instance on a route where there is stiff competition, & your profit goes extremely in the red, but you load factor remains 100%, and the only thing out of whack is that all of a sudden your ticket prices are really low, like F/C/Y = $90/$90/$90? #2 is against the game rules.
- Multiple airlines owned by the same player in a world cannot be used to give an unfair advantage to each other (selling aircraft to each other to get around delivery slot limits, flooding routes together to gain market share, etc).

In response to: AvroFly3r Posted 10 August 2011 - 04:58 AM its all ways of cheating, number 1 is the worst as there hacking the system to alter your prices, number 2 is slightly less solvable. my reccomendations are to choose a different airport next time.
I was at the airport & had the route first. They came along & tried to take it, but couldn't. Then it appears they turned to a "scorched earth policy" to spite me. That didn't really work either.
Here's another I encountered today. This airline in AE7 (Metro Airlines) was once reported to Yuxi because he had been running 2 airlines out of the same airport flying the same routes. Today I find this on the DCA-MSN route. It shows he has daily seats of 4F/12C/130Y; however, when you open his weekly flight listing, it shows no seats filled by first class whatsoever. The numbers don't seem to add up. It shows 4F/12C/130Y, but when you do the math, Metro only has 0F/14C/126Y. Somehow Metro is carrying 6 extra invisible passengers. Then, when you look at my flights, I seem to be short-sheeted on business class by 4 seats, but my first & coach match up. Perhaps this is a bug with the game? Or is it suspicious?

im confused.
Basically what Heartburn is saying is that there is a problem with the totaling up of the daily seats on the route. The route says that he has 4F, 12C

I am, kind of. This cheating is UNACCEPTABLE!!!
I do have to agree with you with that one! It spoils the game for other people! WE NEED YUXI!

We are back to the beginning... ArubanStar on AE7 is using 777-200ER's to fly out of Chicago Midway (MDW). How is this possible? The runway at MDW is 6,522 feet & the 777-200ER needs 8,458 feet. It won't let me use a 777-200ER. Is Arubanstar using some sort of cheat, or is there a glich in the game that only lets some of the players cheat? For a bit, the 777-200ER disappeared from Arubanstar's flights. Now it appeared again. Also, I suspect he's a hacker because my fares magically drop substantially & I have to redo them, while his fares stay the same. Anyway, he's back to using 777-200ERs on the MDW-LGW route. See pic attached...
