KIA BF-575C - KA-K229 - Circa 2002

KAYO INTERNATIONAL AIRLINES or, KIA, callsign KAYIN, is the main national airline of the Democratic Republic of Kayo (DRoK). KIA was founded in [the 70s] right after Kayo achieved independence from Bunswang. Based out of the capital's first and main airport, Machikayo Reji International Airport [MKO], KIA maintains this hub to the current day [2002], but has moved most domestic regional flights to Machikayo Obi Regional Airport [MKA]. KIA is one of the most well-known airlines on Colossal, and maintains a dominance over the legacy market of the nation of Kayo. However, budget airlines like Kayo Maple Air System have impacted domestic ticket sales, and even international competition to the major market of the USDC cities such as Ironport, O'hare, and Occasio have affected the dominance of KIA. Even Kayo Allied Rail Industries conglomerating has impacted domestic-short haul routes.

The livery displayed is the KIA Next Millennium livery, used from 2000-2013, on a Bastion-Felix BF-575 C-variant. BF is a Dandorfic Union company, however much of KIA's fleet originates from said manufacture, due to ease of trade with Zaanstad (A nation of the Dandorfic Union) in the time after the Kayin War for independence. The BF-575 comes in an A and B variant as well, however KIA prefers the longest C variants for its long-haul needs out of Machikayo. This BF-575C registered KA-K229 is often seen flying to the city of O'hare in the USDC, and to Damebridge in Newdund. KIA does have larger planes than the 575C, but this will be expounded upon later.
