Anglian Airways Boeing 707-120B

Anglian Airways was founded in 1957 in London Luton, United Kingdom, with a fleet of DC-3 aircraft. Initially, the airline focused on providing domestic services within the United Kingdom. As the company grew, it added more aircraft to its fleet, including the Vickers Viscount and the Fokker F27 Friendship.

In the 1960s, Anglian Airways expanded its operations and began flying international routes, primarily to destinations in Europe. In 1966, the airline introduced the Boeing 707, which allowed it to operate longer-range flights to destinations such as Africa and the Middle East.

However, in 1969, the airline was purchased by the Crown Line shipping company and was rebranded as Crown Line Aviation. Under the new ownership, the airline continued to operate its existing routes, and all aircraft were repainted.
