Garrayura Boeing 747-400

The Garrayura Boeing 747-400 has arrived!
The 787s were going through their notorious engine issues and a stopgap measure was needed, enter the Boeing 747-438.
Ex-Qantas Boeing 747-438s OJB, OJC, OJD and OJE were purchased by Garrayura 787 Leasing Concern and subleased to Garrayura after their service with Qantas was complete. These aircraft were used to fill capacity whilst the Boeing 787-8s were undergoing their engine repair works.

This is VH-GAA and the glorious 747 is named after Australian tennis sensation Evonne Goolagong Cawley.

By November 2018, all 4 of the Garrayura 747-438s were retired to Arizona, where they were scrapped shortly after.
