Nippon Airlines took delivery of their first Kanamori K200 on January 22, 2022, becoming the second operator to recieve the type after launch customer SJK Air. The airline have placed the largest order of the type, consisting of over 120 units with an option for nearly a hundred more. The first example of the Kanamori K100 aircraft is scheduled to be delivered to Nippon on January 30, 2023 - with the first deliveries of that variant beginning in late-October 2022. Nippon first placed an order for the jet back in 2010, with the first deliveries scheduled for 2020; however with multiple setbacks due to coronavirus, deliveries were postponed beyond 2021.
