A220-100

Following the entry into service of the CS220 created by Bombardier in July 2016 , the Italian company says it is interested in this new generation single aisle.
Wishing to operate this aircraft within their company, Siciliana turns to the Spanish leasing company Airspace Co.company in November 2017 for the lease of two aircraft. A lease agreement is signed on October 2018. The Italian company these two aircraft under Spanish registration with an all white livery.
The arrival of the COVID-19 put abruptly end to the contract and the two aircraft are returned to the leasing company.

It is in 2021 that Siciliana turned to Airbus, which became the new owner of the project then renamed A220, for an order of 3 Airbus A220-100.

The I-FGLH is the first to be delivered in September 2022. With a completely revamped cabin, the company offers a total of 121 seats with 16 business and 105 economy.
The I-FGLH made its first commercial flight on September 19, 2022 between Catania and Salzburg Airport in Austria.

The Italian company is currently in discussion with SWISS AIR for the follow-up and maintenance of their A220 aircraft.

The other two aircraft on order should be delivered at the end of the first half of 2023.
