Eastern Indonesia planned to re-new their old fleet, especially the Boeings, with lease some of Airbus's aircraft, such as the A220, A321 NEO and A350-900. The airline even already signed a commitment for 10 new Airbus A321 NEOs and will become the Asian launch costumer of A321 NEO. But later cancelled this deal and temporarily shelved its plans to re-new their fleet.
