Present Day - Chelsea FC Special Liveries

Present Day - Chelsea FC Special Liveries

In 2014, Anatolia Airways entered a 10-year sponsorship agreement with London-based Chelsea FC. While the agreement did not include naming rights to Stamford Bridge, Anatolia billboards and posters decorate much of the advertising space in the stadium. The airline also revealed two aircraft, a 777-200 and an A319, in a unique Chelsea-branded promotional livery. The two original aircraft have since been retired, but the Turkish private carrier maintains two aircraft in a Chelsea special livery.
Depicted above are the two aircraft wearing the latest iterations of the Chelsea liveries, Airbus A321neo TC-NEY and A330-200 TC-MUK. In contrast to the standard Anatolia branding on the forward fuselage, the maroon tulip on the tail has been eschewed in favour of a bright blue and yellow tail with the Chelsea badge. A decal of a Chelsea-branded football adorns the rear fuselage of -NEY, while -MUK displays one of Chelsea players. Signatures of Chelsea team members have also been applied to the nose of both aircraft under "Official Airline Sponsor of Chelsea Football Club" decals. Both aircraft visit Chelsea's home city frequently from Istanbul and Antalya.
