2. China Guangdong A300-600R

Guangdong Airlines would take delivery of its first A300B4-600s in 1989, these new Airbus' would go on to replace the some of the soviet hand downs from CALC as well as provide extra capacity on domestic routes however the airline would only operate 10 of the 600s entering into service between 1989 and 1990. The airline would instead turn its attention to the enhanced -600R variant and place an order for 22 of them which were delivered from 1990 to 1992 respectively. These new A300s would interchange on operating short haul domestic routes within China and medium haul routes from Shenzhen and Guangzhou to destinations like Seoul, Jeju, Fukuoka, Naha, Manila and Hanoi. The A300s were also paired to work with the longer Boeing 767-300/ER which also delivered from 1990 to 1995. The A300s would be configured in a standard 2 Class Cabin Configuration, consisting of 28 Business Class Recliner Seats and 232 Standard Economy Seats, with only business receiving IFE. Finally the A300s would remain in service till 2011 when the final aircraft B-3021 would retire and be replaced by the Airbus A330-200.
