1. China Guangdong B737-400

In 1988, the CAB 'Chinese Aviation Bureau' decided that their internal airline CALC 'China Airline Company' would be broken into several airlines. Two of those airlines would be China Guangdong Airlines, later known as Guangdong Airlines, and China Huaxia Airlines.

The livery shown above is Guangdong's first livery which was unveiled in summer 1989 on the airlines first 737-400. This livery would stay in operation up until 2008 when the airline placed an order for the Boeing 787.
