Boeing 727-200

Boeing 727-200

Hudson Airlines was founded by Brooklyn native Jonathan Marshall in June of 1982. Operations started in January of 1983 with a single Boeing 727-200. Staff consisted of 16 pilots, 16 flight attendants, three mechanics and CEO Jon Marshall. Most employees previously worked for Braniff, which went defunct a month prior to Hudson's launch.

N66736 was Hudson's first 727 and flew it's first flight from Boston to its home base of New York. The aircraft flew with CP Air and Dan-Air London before its tenure at Hudson.

I’ve never seen an entire city put onto an aircrafts tail. I think it looks nice, good work!
