Shiny New Twinjet - Boeing 777F

The Boeing 777F marked an new era in Raines Air; these were the first twinjets since the long since retired DC-9 aircraft. These would fly air mail and smaller outsource cargo, compared to the 747 fleet which would often carry outsize cargo due to the nose gear. The first one would be delivered in November of 2012.

N103RI was delivered in February of 2013. It was leased to DHL and Bohai Airlines in 2015 and 2017, and still continues to fly for Raines in the present day. In December of 2021, orders for 4 more 777s were finalized with Boeing, with the first of the four being scheduled for delivery in November of 2022.
