The airline's brand new flagship business class product (Premium Business) debuted alongside the airline's new flagship - the Boeing 777-300ER. Cocoon-like pod-seats in a reverse-herringbone formation would occupy the first eight rows on each 777, totaling 32 per plane, in a 1-2-1 configuration. The seat, decked out in modern materials evoking a contemporary Oriental style, offers several amenities, including lie-flat capabilities, charging ports of various design, multifunctional storage spaces, a 22-inch IFE screens with touchscreen and remote controls, a table lamp and a over-the-shoulder reading lamp, and mood lighting for the entire cabin. Noise-cancelling headphones come as standard, and Rimowa amenity kits are reserved for longer-haul destinations like New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Amsterdam, Paris, and London. Business class guests can also avail of a snack/drink bar, in the galley behind the bulkhead seats.
A similar product will be introduced for the forthcoming Airbus A350s.
Would deffo pay to fly in that cabin!
