Prima Air is a low-cost carrier based in Prague, Czech Republic (Czechia). Founded in 1996 with a small fleet of 737 classic aircraft, the airline has since grown to become one of the largest LCCs in Central Europe and has operating bases throughout Europe. The current backbone of the fleet is the Airbus A320 family with a mix of A319s, A320s, and A321s.
The airline's name comes from a Czech term for great or excellent.
