Air Turkey Team Turkey Livery Airbus A330-300

Since 1992, Air Turkey has been a proud sponsor for the Turkish Olympic Team, and also the Olympics as a whole. To celebrate this partnership, Air Turkey have done numerous special Olympic liveries in the past for the following Olympic Games:

1992 Barcelona

1996 Atlanta

2000 Sydney

2008 Beijing

2012 London


2020 (2021) Tokyo*

*Represented instead by the livery above, which I shall now explain about.

The livery above was painted on a 1994 Airbus A330-300 in June of 2019. There were rumors that Air Turkey would also do a special Tokyo 2020 livery, but this never came to life due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Team Turkey Livery was used to represent the 2020 (2021) Olympics instead. This livery looks to be staying, as Air Turkey still remains as a huge sponsor for the Turkish Olympic Team. But this begs the question; will there be a special livery for the upcoming Olympic Games: 2024 Paris, 2028 Los Angeles, 2032 Brisbane, etc? Who knows? Air Turkey might. But the point is that for now, this special livery will remain for a few more years at least to the delight of plane spotters.
