Southeastern Airlines - The Jellybean Fleet

Starting in 1964 Southeastern embarked on its first livery update since its inception in 1952. After becoming the first airline in the US to transition to an all jet fleet, Southeastern began the next chapter with a brand to set it apart from the rest.

While the company's sunburst logo was unchanged, the sunset stripes were retired and replaced with a radical new livery featuring a single block colour for the fuselage, complemented by white tail and polished belly.

The company's management and design team carefully selected eight individual shades for use reflecting their Miami home and international network focused on Latin America and the Caribbean with the final shades being: Lemon, Coral, Caribbean Blue, Lipstick, Sunburst Yellow, Lavender, Rose Pink and Florida Orange.

The Jellybean livery would last until 1971 when it was retired in favour of a uniform scheme across the fleet.
