Airbus A330-300 of the Irish airline WIRISH based at Dublin Airport. The airline is a subsidiary of the national carrier Aer Lingus. Following an order for five aircraft in early 2006, the EI-EVD was delivered in October 2008. The company will use it on the Dublin - Bangalore (India) and Dublin - Fort Myers (Florida USA) routes. WIRISH has been committed to the fight against cancer since 2011. In 2017 the airline wanted to make a statement with a dedicated paint scheme. The EI-EVD was chosen because of its delivery date, which falls in the month of the fight against breast cancer. The painting was carried out by the Canadian company PAINTING SKY during May 2017.
To date the aircraft still carries this paint scheme, and operates on routes from Dublin to New York, Fort Myers, Dar el Salaam and Las Vegas.
Why Dar es Salaam??
Tanzania is an African country renowned for its vast wilderness. There are many natural parks , including the Serengeti national park , and many safaris are possible. There is also the Kilimanjaro national park , home to the highest mountain in Africa. And of course off the coast there are the tropical islands of Zanzibar with its marine park , coral reefs ... I find an interesting country

I get that, but is there really any demand between Dublin and Tanzania that wouldn't be served by flying, say, to another hub (LHR or CDG perhaps)?

Yes of course , why not make a stop on LHR or CDG. It could work too On this route , I wanted to bring something new , something unusual .
