DesertWest Airbus A320-232 (1997 original livery)

This is DesertWest's first ever aircraft, delivered in May 1997 brand new from Airbus. It was registered as N601DW and named DesertONE. Over the next 25 years, the airline has grown to a big player in the low cost market in the US, having 4 main hubs, with many other focus cities. As of April 2022, they own over 200 A320 family aircraft.
A320ceos like this one fly a variety of different routes, with the longest being BUR-BOS. All A320ceo aircraft are fitted with 180 economy seats. This aircraft in particular operated at DesertWest until 2018, and is now stored at Victorville. However, a small Somali airline has recently purchased it, so it will find a new home in the next few weeks.
