Air Turkey Airbus A321-200 Traditional Floral Pattern Livery

On 16 June 2016, a photo was posted to Twitter by a French avgeek with the username Fr_Aviation01 in Toulouse showing off a special pattern livery worn by an Air Turkey Airbus A321-200. The photo was taken behind a fence in Toulouse, Airbus' main HQ. The livery hadn't been officially revealed, but there were many rumours going around that Air Turkey was going to do another special livery at some point in 2016, with the rumours dating as far back as 2014. The picture was zoomed in on the A321 and wasn't the best quality as you could imagine. Nonetheless, you could pick up what it basically looked like. The image went viral in the aviation community, especially as this was the first time Air Turkey had done a special livery featuring a traditional Turkish pattern. However, even as popular this image (and 2 more new images within 2 weeks of the original) got, Air Turkey remained silent on the topic for a bit.

Air Turkey couldn't keep silent on this livery for much longer however, and they officially revealed the now named 'Turkish Floral' livery. The aircraft was an Airbus A321-200 featuring factory-fitted sharklets. Air Turkey would have 12 of these factory-fitted sharklet A321s in its' fleet, with the first one arriving in 2012, and the last in 2018 (these 12 A321s just so happened to be the final A321ceos to be delivered to the airline). These 12 A321-200s are fitted with a more premium-heavy config for medium-haul flights to Middle-East, Africa, and parts of Europe.

This aircraft still carries this special livery with zero plans to repaint it in the future.
