Sun Costa Rica | TI ZQU

March 4th, 2012 Sun Airlines Costa Rica was founded. They had one Cessna 208 in their fleet, TI-ZQU, affectionately nicknamed after the Costa Rican president at the time, Laura Chinchilla. At this time, the main objective was to gather enough ticket sales to expand the business, though a year later, the objective would be to take market-share from the airline's main competition, the thriving Nature Air.

The airline took a simple approach to designing the livery, settling for a yellow tail and white sun drawing half cropped out. The full logo on the fuselage.
