Airbus A330-200

The company's first Airbus A330-200 made its first test flight in Toulouse on December 3, 2007. Lufthansa took delivery on March 16, 2008 under registration D-AERD.
During his years with the German flag carrier, the plane was scheduled to fly to Asia. Airbus Industrie via its Holding A330 Leasing (official owner of the plane) finally leases it to Romana Airways from March 24, 2014 after a few weeks delay on the date initially planned.
In order to make the plane available as soon as possible, it is not painted right away. During his first flights, he therefore operated all white with only Romana inscribed in very small format on the front of the aircraft. It was only at the beginning of September that he received his first livery. It made its first commercial flight (RM3354) on April 6, 2014 on the Rome - Dakar line.
From January to May 2018, it undergoes a complete technical check, a cabin change and the SKYTEAM logo is added to the fuselage.
In 2019 the plane is still flying for the Italian company, which places it on routes to Cancun (Mexico), Punta Cana (Dominican Republic) and Montego Bay (Jamaica).


Le premier Airbus A330-200 de la compagnie effectue son premier vol d'essai à Toulouse le 03 décembre 2007. Lufthansa en prend livraison le 16 mars 2008 sous l'immatriculation D-AERD.
Durant ses années passées au sein de la compagnie nationale allemande, l'avion est programmé pour volé vers l'Asie. Airbus Industrie via son Holding A330 Leasing (propriétaire officiel de l'avion) le loue finalement à Romana Airways à partir du 24 mars 2014 après quelques semaines de retard sur la date initialement prévue.
Afin de rendre l'avion disponible au plus vite, il n'est pas peint tout de suite. Lors de ses premiers vols il opère donc tout blanc avec uniquement Romana inscrit en tout petit a l'avant de l'appareil. Ce n'est que début septembre 2014 qu'il reçoit sa première livery. Il effectue son premier vol commercial (RM3354) le 06 avril 2014 sur la ligne Rome - Dakar.
De janvier à mai 2018, il subit une vérification technique complète , un changement de cabine et le logo SKYTEAM est ajouter sur le fuselage.
En 2019 l'avion vol toujours pour la compagnie italienne, qui le place sur les routes à destination de Cancun (Mexique) , Punta Cana (République Dominicaine) et Montego Bay (Jamaïque).
