Boeing 747 100 EI-ASQ

First one with some history.

The 747-100 EI-ASQ was acquired by Éire International on September 13th, 1977. The aircraft was first of its kind in the fleet, with the goal of meeting the airline's mission statement to be the first private Irish airline to cross the Atlantic.
EI-ASQ was assigned services to Osaka, Baltimore, Urumqi and a seasonal service to Faro.

Further 747-100s were ordered by Éire International in the following years, as the 747 became the backbone of the Atlantic and Asian bound fleets in the late 70s and 80s.
