Brasília Linhas Aéreas | McDonnell Douglas MD-11M

This airline was just one of a few operating the MD-11 in a combi configuration. Brazil is a popular destination for cargo and goods and in 2002, Brasília Linhas Aéreas, wanted to be a part of the cargo world so much they decided to operate some aircraft types in a mixed configuration, while also operating freighters. The MD-11 was one of the types selected to operate in this so called "Mixed Configuration" and has proven to be very successful for decades until it's retirement in 2018, with the 777 as its replacement.
