CALIAIR | Boeing 717-200 & 737-800

Late 1990's it was time to replace the aging, but iconic tri-jet fleet. The airline stayed committed to Boeing and placed an order for the 717 to replace the 727-100 and the 737-800 to replace the 727-200. The first of the ordered aircraft arrived in 2000 sporting a dark brown/bordeaux and orange coloured design that would be used for the next decade.
