ES 772

ES 772

In addition to their narrowbody 737 and 757 fleet, Excelsior also operates a few widebody aircrafts for long-haul operations. The airline currently operates 3 Boeing 767-300ER jets for scheduled services to Europe, and a singular Boeing 777-200ER for charter services worldwide. In history, Excelsior has operated the DC-10 (1984-1996), the MD-11 (1996-2009), and the Boeing 747-400 (2009-2014). The 777, an ex-Northern aircraft, was introduced to the fleet in 2014, replacing the singular Boeing 747-400 in Excelsior's fleet. It was converted into a passenger freighter during the COVID-19 pandemic, but reverted back to its passenger configuration in the summer of 2021. Since it's the only 777 in the fleet, it bears the ship number "777" and often operates under the callsign "ORCHARD 9108/9109".
