Skymark Airlines Airbus A330-343 (JA330B)

Skymark Airlines is a Low cost carrier, with hubs at Tokyo Haneda and Kobe Airport. It was founded in 1996. In 2014 they received their first of 10 A330s. They had a spacious configuration of 271 premium economy seats, which they used on domestic trunk routes, such as the route to Fukuoka. They even had A380s on order at the time, but the orders were cancelled in July 2014 due to their poor financial state. The financial issues unfortunately started to take a toll on A330 operations as well, and they were unfortunately retired in March 2015, after less than a year of service at the airline. The A330s were sold to Turkish Airlines and Air Europa. The A380 orders were later transferred to ANA and Emirates.
