MapleJet is a full service passenger and cargo airline based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Formed in 1971 with Boeing 737 and 727 aircraft, the airline became the biggest challenger to Canadian National Airlines by 1980. Expansion into widebodies happened in 1985 with the arrival of the Boeing 767 and Douglas DC-10 aircraft. A cargo division was created in 1983 with Boeing 727F aircraft.

The airline suffered tremendously after 9/11 and was bought out by Canadian National in 2002. The subsidiaries were spun off, and only MapleJet Cargo survived the early 2000s.

Passenger service returned in 2018 when MapleJet ordered 6 Airbus A220-300 aircraft and started service again out of Calgary, Alberta.
