In 2015 Kazakh Airlines introduced a single Boeing 777-300ER into the fleet, it was introduced as a premium heavy aircraft utilized primarily on the airlines routes to New York helped by feeding passengers from the neighboring Central Asian countries through Astana, the type would also be used on the airlines premium routes to Asia, and occasionally spotted operating into Europe though a rare sight.

While the 777-300ER was operated by the airline for 3 years, the type was primarily introduced as a status symbol for the nation, and despite operating profitably on the routes it was deployed, the aircraft wouldn't remain in the airlines fleet and would be returned to the lessor in 2018.
