Adarna - South East Asian Airlines Boeing 747-2B9

Adarna - South East Asian Airlines Boeing 747-2B9

The airline was an early member of the jumbo jet program, ordering and operating two Pratt and Whitney-powered 747-200s shortly after they were made public. After the launch of the General Electric CF6 into the market, management decided to change course and have its remaining 747 fleet (having been told of future variants by Boeing) powered by GE engines. The jumbo quickly became an icon for the Filipino people, and it took them, and the rest of the world, all around Asia, Europe, and as far as New York, with a stopover in Seoul, the airline's newly inaugurated focus city, as opposed to others who set up shop in the newly built Tokyo-Narita.

I found some stuff on Google that was posted here on AE too. As of the moment I'm gathering sources to credit those who made the gear in my album's description. Also saw some on the project hangar.

    Amazing work!

    Neat stuff!
